To walk from the image world into the physical space. A work of art that you can walk around and read like a 3-dimensional collage and experience a total change of scene.
The Turn
A sudden change, like when you go from arguing to becoming friends, can be so swift and transformative that it feels like entering a whole new world where it's hard to recall the past. There's a sense of hope in this, even though it may seem impossible. Through a single turn, everything can change. It's a reevaluation of past perceptions and an opening to new possibilities and relationships with the world around us.
The artwork is worked out in the project exhibition (Kapsylen Open Studios). The finished work will be shown at TOOLBOX Berlin in April 2022.
