The upcoming exhibition focuses on portraits, primarily of children of various ages, executed in acrylic and oil on paper and panel. Kenneth Pils, born in 1964 in Huskvarna and now based in Stockholm, was educated at Konstfack and the Royal Institute of Art. With an established artistic career spanning both Swedish and European contexts, Pils has participated in numerous public art projects.

His figurative painting is based on photographic references, which he transforms into nuanced, visual narratives. Pils’ art explores the human relationship with both the world and the inner self through subtle interpretations of facial expressions. The exhibition invites viewers to reflect on what it means to maintain an authentic connection with oneself and the world—a dialogue in which art becomes a mirror of human presence and existential understanding.
