Projects

State of mind, Birth of Identity, Spinning etc are names of projects. The root of all of them is personal liberty. In any given time, in all societies, there is a dominant culture and your identity is defined in relation to that. My big motivation is to find ways to make this process visible and produce artworks that shows that alternatives are necessary and possible.

Statement

My opinion is that our potential as human beings our societies is not taken care of an and that is a thing that have to change. We have to adapt to rules in society- but how about being less reactive and more active in setting the rules. We as artist build subcultures where we are more aware of the impact of the dominant culture and more free in relation to it. That is perhaps why i instinctive felt that life as an artist was my way.

The projects express these thoughts in several ways. And you can se some of them. I'm not very biographical in my works and they tend to be more impersonal and classical I really don't know why.
